GAIA

i recently discovered the copenhagen based label GAIA

"the collections are handmade and mainly consist of one-off pieces and a smaller number of styles. simple silhouettes contrast with quirky details and an appealing treatment of colour make up GAIA´s unmistakable look... her work evolves from a combination that cannot be decoded immediately; instead, leaving a mysterious and poetic picture of the world we live in. inspiration for this expression can be found in many places in our everyday lives, but also from the world of are."

here are my favorite looks from her aw11 collection:

pastel,   not really the typical color  for autumn collection  but the combination with dark and dirty colors makes it look so warm and cosy.
i'm  no  fan of the red, black and white combination that has become so big right now but i like how GAIA has done it. it doesn't scream 70´s or minimalism to me.
the knitted sweaters looks so cool i would love to have one of them,  i can´t choose which one i like the most.

here are also few inspiration pictures from GAIA's blogi have few of them as well that i have used in my collections
